• Wrote a three tier web application used to enter and update Ad Campaign data for the online version of a national magazine.
• Modified and created new Templated User controls and Web Parts for web application.

• Converted a classic ASP application to ASP.NET so that it can be maintained and enhanced using Visual Studio. The old application, with over 1,300 ASP pages and a class file containing over 18,000 lines of code, was written in classic ASP connecting to a SQL Server 2000 database and used ADODB function calls to a DLL written in VB. The conversion involved rewriting the DLL source code in VB.NET and converting each ASP page to ASP.NET. The application was then moved to a new web server, and the database was migrated to a new SQL Server 2005 server.

• Created and modified menus and user controls for Web pages on corporate Intranet and Internet websites, using Visual Studio 2003, SQL Server 2005, T-SQL
• Upgraded the corporate intranet from ASP.NET1.1 under Visual Studio 2003 to ASP.NET 2 under Visual Studio 2005, SQL Server 2005, and T-SQL.
• Developed a Web-based Change Control application used to track software and hardware changes made to servers, switches, and routers on the corporate network. The application was written in VB.NET on Visual Studio 2005. The data was stored in SQL Server 2005.
• Provided support for and modified an IT hardware inventory application. This application was ASP.NET written in VB.NET using Visual Studio 2005 with SQL Server 2005 database and Stored Procedures.

• Provided support for the intranet and migrated it from a Netscape Web server to the Apache Web server running on Netware. Modified and created departmental Web pages written in Perl.
• Developed a Web-based Wisconsin On-Call application for the marketing department that enabled users to determine quickly whether specific phone numbers were on the no-call list prior to contacting them by phone. The application ran on Apache Web Server and was written in PHP, and the data was stored in a MySQL database and updated monthly.
• Led the project to upgrade Network Servers from Netware 4.11 to Netware 5.1. This effort included the development of disaster recovery plan, in-place upgrades and migrations to new hardware.
• Provided Data Warehouse support of Fiserv KnowledgeShare and Power Share applications.

• Designed websites and provided computer support and for small businesses. Create sites in Visual Studio 2005 using MasterPages, CSS-Friendly Control Adapters, ASP.Net Themes for easy CSS changes, User Controls for making quick changes to menus, headers, footers, etc., and Ajax Control Toolkit. The data for the websites resides in SQL Server 2005 and is extracted using stored procedure calls.
• Designed web site for contracting company that included a cubic-yard calculator allowing customers to calculate amount of topsoil to order. Price listing page displays prices stored in SQL database. Admin pages allowed the owners to update prices as needed.
• Designed web site for a logistics company . Site includes a contact us form, an on-line driver application, and a request a quote form.

• Responsible for Netware server installation, upgrades and support.
• Served as server team lead in project to upgrade Netware servers from 3.12 to 4.11 and PCs from windows 3.11 to Windows 95 throughout state of Wisconsin.
• Responsible for deploying and troubleshooting banking applications using Zenworks.
